Who we are?

The Information Technology Education department of MATS College of Technology is currently offering its BSIT course and catering the computer education subject for other departments such as Maritime, Engineering, Education, Business, Aviation.

The department is fully committed on giving quality education to the students therefore the needs of the students will be cater by the different in-charge of the department. All are welcome to visit our IT facilities and be a member of the MATS Society of Information Technology Students.

Our Open Source Laboratory

Everything we do in our laboratory are all free as in "FREEDOM". That's one good step in becoming a successful IT Professional "Be Legal". We compile our programs in some Free Compilers such as GCC and the Java Compiler using Netbeans. Documents are made using also the Open Office Application Suite and to top of it our Operating System runs on Linux Ubuntu and Linux Mint. So that is our Open Source Laboratory.
